This is an information page about the publications of the author Stephanie Vonwiller.

In the bookroom you will find an overview of the published works (fiction, guidebooks, non-fiction and stories). The same menu item contains picture galleries of the author's research trips to Italy, the USA, Vikings and China. Free short stories are also available here as pdf files.

The author has largely withdrawn from public life. Her last work was the translation of "Die Zifferblattmalerin" into English - Glowing Times, which was published in 2020.

"You can't smell it, you can't see it, you can't taste it and that makes everything connected with it unpredictable."
Join me on a journey back to the extraordinary and exciting 1920s in New Jersey and New York.
Glowing Times is a gripping novel, related to probably the most significant discovery of the 19th century. The story tells the brave struggle of two friends who move in a society in which independence by women is only tolerated to a limited extent.
Love, happiness, and richness, those are the dreams of Gladys and Arlene. This is what they live for, and they have no idea that they are accompanied by an invisible danger. They enjoy the exciting time of the 20th century with all the wonderful events until some decisions lead them into the reality of hell. Slowly the truth rises, accompanied by suffering and death, from the shadow of conspiracy and greed for profit.

"A well-packaged textbook, a must for the fact-oriented mind. An unconventional non-fiction novel like Hidden Figures. Herewith, something is entering literature that can best be described as a history-documentary soap."

+ a lot of bonus material for you at the end!
